Welcome from Pastor Dana Newhouse
I believe our gracious God has entrusted us with a ministry of Word and Sacrament in this place. I believe we have been gathered together and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be a welcoming family of believers in Jesus Christ -- who have been called by God to live out our faith by serving others and making disciples for Jesus Christ. I believe God is carefully guiding Trinity Lutheran Church into ever widening circles of ministry and growth. God can and will use us to proclaim the Good News of God's Son as we seek to be faithful and to do God's will. In Colossians 3:16-17, we are reminded to "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." (NRSV). In Christ's Love, Pastor Dana Newhouse |
Each week, we lift up in prayer to God:
Merciful God, you visit the hurting, giving healing and strength. We pray for your children in any need: the orphaned, the neglected, the grieving, the injured, and those we name this day ..........we especially lift up the needs of everyone locally and around the world who have been affected by illness, violence, accidents, and natural disasters, and we especially lift up the needs of those serving in our police and fire departments, and military and also the needs of our family and friends on our Trinity Prayer List. Prayer requests for the Prayer Circle at Trinity can be submitted by e-mail to our church office trinity2620@live.com. Prayers can also be submitted at the Sunday services, please ask our greeters for help with these needs. |
